What Is Happening in Ukraine
On the morning on February 24, 2022 Russia launched a large-scale invasion into Ukraine from Belarus along the entire length of the common border. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Territorial Defense Unit, and ordinary Ukrainian citizens began to resist the Russian enemy. The military forces of Ukraine fought and have continued to fight, to defend their people, land and Country. While the Russian military has suffered serious losses as they have continued to advance toward Kharkov, Mariupol, Kherson, Chernigov, and Kyiv, Russia seriously underestimated the ways in which Ukraine would continue to fight back.
Ukrainians will not surrender their homeland. The whole world sees the courage and resilience of Ukrainian troops, volunteers, and civilians who are making history by fighting for their freedom and the sovereignty of Ukraine. Ukraine needs our help to stop the Russian invaders who are killing Ukrainian citizens — including women, children, and the elderly.
