“gabrielle D’ estrees”—assemblage sculpture inspired by “gabrielle d’ estrees, a woman of the late 1500’s,  Described by some as the “blonde nymphet who turned a king (henry iv of France) into an overdressed figure of ridicule”.   I was also inspired by the many birdcages I have in my possession!
