Mechelle Esparza-Harris, artist and author of the East Grandell Middle School series, “The Love Note,” East Grandell’s Sage” and creator of the Love, Relationships & You Game, creates Art in versions of the word “Love” using colors & geometric shapes. Being an author, her Art has found its place in her Love Hits the Mark bookmark creations. Her display at Crossroads Art Center is made up of abstract pieces under the title “Love is Complicated.”

Mechelle has loved Art since she was a child, working in pointillism, oils, acrylics and ultimately finding her happy place in geometric shapes, markers and colored pencils. Her personal statement, “Love is real, tangible and the Greatest guide available to man. Learn it, Live it, Be it” is one she hopes people will spread by carrying & sharing the Art in bookmarks.
