WE ARE A RICHMOND-BASED COLLECTIVE OF PASSIONATE MUSICIANS
Our goal is to integrate classical music with Richmond’s vibrant music scene by taking this universal art form out of its glass case and into local bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries.
We host several different kinds of events around town, most of which are free and open to the public. Here’s what’s coming up next:
First Friday at VMFA, April 7, 6-8pm VMFA 200 N. Boulevard Free
Five musicians from Classical Revolution RVA join together to present
an evening of chamber music for First Friday. Harp, violin, viola,
flute and guitar will be combined in various configurations to present
a variety of solos, duos, and trios, including Claude Debussy's
enchanting trio for flute, viola, and harp, as well as Astor
Piazzolla's "History of the Tango" for guitar and violin.

The 4th annual Mozart Festival will take place on Sunday April 23rd in the arts and culture district in the Jackson Ward neighborhood. For this year’s festival Classical Revolution RVA will provide a chance for Richmond, VA’s classical community to take over the shops, bars, restaurants, and venues for a day-long festival which is free to the public. This year’s festival will feature a variety of ways to celebrate the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with more than 100 performaers, while also enjoying the foods, drinks, and settings of this iconic arts district.
Please consider making a monthly pledge through our website! That's the best way to support us as we work daily to integrate classical music with Richmond's vibrant music and arts scene, making it more accessible to people who might feel intimidated by a concert hall. Make a donation.
And remember, with each dollar you give, Richmond gets that much cooler!
