On January 16th we launched a new website with the same  address www.richmondcultureworks.org but a brand new look and lots of new resources.

As part of the new website we are proud to now offer a year-round arts and culture calendar!

We want to be your go-to calendar for arts and culture experiences happening in the Richmond and Tri-Cities region so continue to explore, engage and be inspired by our world-class arts and culture community!

If you are an artist, organization or business offering arts and culture experiences for the region keep adding your events!

If you are a lover of all things arts and culture dig into the calendar to support, create and celebrate!

~CultureWorks plays an impactful role for the region as a primary source of cultural information and opportunities, and provides important assistance and financial opportunities for more than 150 nonprofit arts and culture organizations in our community.

CultureWorks serves the Richmond and Tri-Cities region which includes an array of constituents from individual practicing artists to large well-established cultural nonprofits, from the general public to government entities.

CultureWorks’ mission is to drive a vibrant community by inspiring, enabling and cultivating world-class arts and culture.

Primary strategies to serve the community include:

  • Engaging the community in arts and culture, and more directly with the activities of CultureWorks, through promotion and advocacy efforts.
  • Providing assistance (funding opportunities and consultative support) to artists and 501c3 nonprofit arts and culture organizations.
  • Driving collaborations that can address various challenges and opportunities in the community.
